RWG Groundworks recently completed a challenging demolition and site clearance project in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire. The project involved the careful demolition of an existing building situated in a highly restricted location between neighbouring properties.
The building shared a party wall with a residential property on one side and was positioned immediately adjacent to the local post office on the other, leaving very little room for error throughout the demolition process. Careful planning and a methodical approach were essential to ensure the safety of surrounding structures while the works were carried out.
Using specialist demolition equipment and experienced operators, the structure was systematically dismantled and removed while maintaining the integrity of the adjoining buildings. Throughout the project, particular attention was given to safety, structural stability and minimising disruption within the town centre location.
Following demolition, the site was fully cleared and prepared for its next phase of development. All demolition materials and debris were removed, leaving a clean and accessible site ready for future construction works.
