RWG Groundworks recently completed a comprehensive external improvement project at a residential property in Robeston Wathen, near Narberth. The works included a new driveway and parking area, concrete kerbing, a reinforced concrete apron, post and rail fencing, site clearance, landscaping and reseeding to create a practical and attractive outdoor space that complements the surrounding countryside.
The project began with extensive site clearance and ground preparation, including clearing the adjoining field and preparing the site for the new access and landscaping works. Once the groundworks were complete, our team installed new concrete kerbs to define the shape of the driveway and parking area, providing a neat, durable edge that enhances both the appearance and longevity of the finished surface.
A new stone driveway and spacious parking area were then constructed, providing improved vehicle access and ample off-road parking. We also installed a reinforced concrete apron at the property's entrance, creating a robust surface designed to withstand regular vehicle use while providing a smooth transition between the driveway and the public highway.
To complement the new access, we installed quality timber post and rail fencing around the property. The fencing enhances the rural character of the site, clearly defines the boundaries and provides an attractive finish that blends naturally with the surrounding landscape.
As part of the final phase of the project, the adjoining field was cleared, levelled and reseeded, improving both its appearance and usability. The surrounding ground was carefully landscaped to tie all elements of the project together, resulting in a smart, functional entrance with professionally finished outdoor spaces that will provide lasting benefits for the homeowner.
