Heavy Duty Rustic Ranch Fencing
RWG recently completed this heavy duty rustic ranch style fencing project, creating a strong and practical boundary suitable for horses and cattle.
The fence has been constructed using rustic timber rails and substantial strainer posts, giving it a traditional appearance while providing the strength required for agricultural and equestrian use.
A 900 x 50mm box mesh has also been incorporated into the fence, providing additional security and helping to create a safe, enclosed area for livestock.
Particular attention was given to the positioning of the lower timber rail. This has been kept clear of the ground to reduce the risk of horses getting a leg caught between the rail and the ground, which could otherwise result in a serious injury.
Wherever possible, the fencing has been installed to follow the natural contours of the land. This helps the finished fence sit naturally within its surroundings and maintains the rustic appearance associated with this type of fencing.
The result is a durable, attractive and practical fencing solution, combining traditional materials with careful consideration for livestock safety.
