RWG Groundworks completed a wildlife pond construction and landscaping project in Yerbeston, Pembrokeshire. The site provided a blank canvas, giving our team the opportunity to design and shape the land in a way that worked with the natural conditions of the area.
The project involved creating a series of ponds and landscaped areas to help encourage more wildlife onto the land, while also making better use of ground that had previously been very wet and difficult to manage.
Using excavators and specialist plant machinery, the ponds were carefully formed and the surrounding land was shaped to create a more practical and visually appealing layout. The works also helped improve access, drainage and overall land management across the site.
The finished project has transformed the land into a more usable and wildlife-friendly space, with pond areas that will continue to develop naturally over time and provide a valuable habitat for birds, insects and other wildlife.
